Crazy. I had my mom sale her house so that is siblings wouldn't argue. It took me years to convince her and I am so thankful she did. A year later she went to heaven. I don't understand why the siblings didn't just split everything. Parents don't want their kids fighting. 😢

I hope that the home was orderly and intact for her to remember before she passed on.

Her kids are spoiled rotten. Their mom worked hard for the house and it's contents. Everything is ruined because of their greed.

Jeremy, why didn't you turn the power off at the breaker in the utility room???? It may mitigate the damage a fire would add to the destruction of the house, as you pointed out. The house and it's contents are probably still in probate, while the siblings fight in court. It's far from being forgotten. I wish the court could sieze this property and sell everything and split the proceeds between them, and be done with it. It doesn't matter which will is the correct one, although the most recent one usually nulifies any preceding one. Soon, only the land will be the only thing left that's valuable. When they were packing up the house, whoever they were, they had no way of knowing all that furniture and art would be left for decades. At the end of the day the only winners in this scenario are the lawyers!

That house has only been abandoned 10 years! Bizarre. Looks more like 25.

Any homeless watching this on their smart phone there you go a place with power that you can crash in. Just tape off the window that you stay in the block off the lights or TV you might have going. Even a fridge.

This will be a stupid question to some, but why are more people not taking things from these places? There looks to be some cool as items that could be worth something, or even just as a keepsake.

Not surprising. People today hold selfish mentalities.. this video proves all the materialistic values you can't take with you when we pass and disputes over it will be regrettable for many. These items weren't on display for sale ..the lady who once owned it was a hoarder.

Most of those antiques predate the previous existing family that married in 1969 so probably they're families old antiquity belongings or maybe they just came from a family of great wealth who knows but why on earth would they just leave all that behind and not take it with them to put in their homes is beyond me and certainly a mystery for sure !!! And look like the old place would have been picked over by antique collectors or just a case of hoarding valuables to be sold at a later date and never got back to the business at hand !!

What exactly happened to the rest of the family and why did they abandoned the house? I really don't understand 😕
